GOT IN TROUBLE TODAY at work.....

Got in trouble today at work - and it was only my second day- my first day on the job! I was standing at the front counter and - I TOUCHED MY HAIR! I didn't mean to gross anyone out or offend anyone and i certainly wouldn't want to cause anyone to loose their appetite. I don't event think I realised I had done it. My manager, Kris, that was training me on register, came over and said a woman going through the drive thru spotted me doing it. So Kris told me to go use some sanitizer.

I was using the sanitizer all day long!! Or washing my hands. Or putting them in soapy buckets of water. AND my hair was just watched last night, so it's squeaky clean. I had it up in a pony tail, to keep it out of my face and out of the food, and wouldn't you know, I do the worse thing possible- I touch it!

My mother asked if I ever watched Rachael Ray. "Her hair is always flipping all around, when she cooks- she don't care!"

Then she told my aunt, grandmother, and me some of her grossest stories of her waitress days. And they were pretty mild, compared to my hair touch! She told one story of how a MANAGER took a piece of lettuce and a tomato that a customer had been done with, and put it on a plate that another customer was about to get! And that was about her mildest story!

Then my uncle Denny had to rag on me all afternoon. He was working outside all day, and he asked my mom if she'd bring him out a Coke. He said he would have asked me, but I'd just touch my hair first before I gave him the Coke.

We all laughed. I love my family. They are always there for me when I need them.

I don't know if I am going to like this job or not.... the cash register whipped my butt today.... there's like a million things on it.... and people get pretty darn impatient when they are waiting on their Big Mac. I had a lot of people helping stupid me today. I get too nervous when I'm doing stuff like this. I may switch to babysitting this summer..... I could make more money (maybe) and have a little bit more freedom.... Zach would love it if I babysat someone his age. I could take them to the playground and take them for works. That sounds like more fun than serving Big MACS!! Hmm mm, decisions, decisions.....
